Last week Heather and I traveled to George to photograph the Bells Experience Golf Finals. We were treated to a stay at the stunning Fancourt Estate. Before the games began I played a round at the world famous Links course. Wow, this golf course is incredible. It is more like play dodgems instead of golf. Each of the fairways are covered in pot bunkers, very difficult indeed. Twenty two winners from eleven preliminary rounds gathered to play the Outenequa (practice round on Thursday), the Montagu (1st round on Friday) and the Links (2nd round on Saturday). It was a tough competition and Morne and Jason ended up the overall winners. After a wonderful four days, we traveled back to Cape Town to catch up on some well deserved sleep.
